Artist Jan Roberson is hosting four exhibitions from now until October. The interesting thing about these shows is they’re all located in the same beautiful area that inspires her. You’ll be able to see the actual scene as well as the artist’s depiction. The shows are located on both the mainland and small islands off the coast. If you can attend don’t forget to bring your camera for your own future work. This is an area full of inspiration!!

  • Event: First Art Show by Jan Roberson.
  • When: From now to June 30, 2015.
  • Time: 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
  • Place: Portland Ballet Theater
  • FREE Admission.
  • Location: 517 Forest Ave., Portland, Maine. (see map below).
  • Event: Second Art Show by Jan Roberson.
  • When: From July 18 to August 1, 2015.
  • Time: 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
  • Place: Orr’s Island Old Schoolhouse
  • FREE Admission.
  • Location: Orr’s Island. Maine (Rt. 24 S) (see map below).
  • Event: Third Art Show by Jan Roberson.
  • When: From August 2 to 28, 2015 (except Friday’s and Saturday’s).
  • Time: 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
  • Place: Bailey Island Library Hall
  • FREE Admission.
  • Location: Bailey Is. Maine (Rt. 24S) (see map below).
  • Event: Fourth Art Show by Jan Roberson.
  • When: October 2015.
  • Time: 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
  • Place: River Arts Gallery
  • FREE Admission.

About Jan Roberson

​Jan Roberson is a pastelist and lives in Quahog Bay in Harpswell. She grew up sailing in southern Maine and that’s reflected in her work where all kind of boats are featured under sail and at mooring. Also apparent in her work is her love for the beauty of the ever-changing woods that surround her.
