For this WOW!!! we only have to say two words: pen and ink. This impressive, highly detailed illustration, named “Genetic Alchemy”, created by Evan Chismark, was made using only pen and ink on Bristol smooth paper.
About his technique Evan told us:
“Part of what resonates with me when it comes to working with pen and ink is the stark simplicity, the strength of contrast, and the depth that I can attain with one or two implements and I think that shows through in this image.”
About the illustration, this one has a special significance for the author:
